Before every course I run I feel excited. Today I feel like I am on fire. In about 5 hours I will be meeting a group of 33 young people who all want to become better leaders. What is special this time though is that in 5 hours I will be facilitating a course for 33 young leaders, all of whom have a disability.

There have been numerous experts who have given us time and advised us as we put this course together. Each one was excited because this may very well be a first. We will be bringing together students from the disabled community with the aim of improving everyone's leadership ability, facilitating a discussion on leadership while helping these individuals better understand themselves, the world and how they relate to others. What makes this course unique will also make it challenging - to the participants, to my team, and to myself.
